At the Detroit motor show, SRT will introduce a new and rather eye-popping shade for the latest Viper named Stryker Green, which is claimed to be an evolution of the Snakeskin Green exterior color that first appeared in 2008 with "enhanced green and yellow pigments and a 'liquid mercury' appearance," according to the automaker.
That's not the only news for the 2014MY Viper from Detroit, as SRT will also debut the Grand Touring (GT) special package with standard Nappa leather seats, five-mode Electronic Stability Control and the two-mode Bilstein DampTronic Select suspension, both of which were previously available exclusively with the Viper GTS.
SRT said the GT option package will be limited to the new Stryker Green and Venom Black exterior colors.
Finally, the Stryker Green display model with the GT package on show in Detroit (seen in these press photos) is fitted with a prototype aero package featuring a Mopar carbon fiber rear wing and extended front corner splitters.
