"Different" is one word (we've heard worse) that you could use to describe Lexus' LF-NX concept for a new compact-sized SUV to take on the BMW X3s and Audi Q5s of the luxury world.
After visiting the Frankfurt and Tokyo motor shows last year, the Japanese brand that's celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2014 brought the LF-NX fitted with its upcoming 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine to Detroit.
According to the company's American division, "the LF-NX turbo concept, a compact SUV, brings a bold, dynamic and innovative exterior with more distinctive and sculpted styling to the premium compact crossover segment".
Last we heard, Lexus is reportedly readying a real-life, toned-down production version of the LF-NX for a world premiere as early as the Geneva Motor Show this March.
