Apparently, there's a growing trend towards velvet wraps (preferably in black, but we assume more colors should be available) for high-end luxury and sports cars in Europe.
We’ve already witnessed a Ferrari 599 GTB wrapped in the woven tufted fabric that feels soft to the touch, and now we have a new Porsche Panamera GTS sporting the same material on its body.
The pictured car has British license plates, but Autogespot forum member S.F. Photography says he actually snapped the shots of the velvety Panamera in Düsseldorf, Germany.
For sure, taste is subjective, but personally, I get a kind of a…comic-book feeling when I see these velvet-covered cars on the road. Thoughts?
